Yu Min, male, Ph.D. in Management, a native of Lianyuan, Hunan Province, joined the Communist Party of China in January 1992, and began his career in July 1997.

    He previously served as a teacher in the Internal Combustion Engine Teaching and Research Section, College of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering, Hunan University; member of the Party General Branch of the Graduate Department, Secretary of the Communist Youth League Committee, and Head of the Training Section, Section Chief of the Degree and Discipline Construction Office, Graduate School, Hunan University; Deputy County Magistrate of the Shuangfeng County People’s Government; Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Shuangfeng County Committee, Director of the Publicity Department, and Director of the Organization Department; Deputy Secretary-General of the Loudi Municipal People’s Government and Director of the Economic Research Office; Deputy Secretary-General of the CPC Loudi Municipal Committee, Director of the Policy Research Office, and Director of the General Office of the CPC Loudi Municipal Committee; Secretary of the CPC Shuangfeng County Committee; Deputy Secretary-General of the Loudi Municipal People's Government and Second-Level Inspector of the Government Office; Vice Mayor of the Loudi Municipal People's Government; and Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Loudi Municipal Committee .

    He is now Deputy Secretary of the HIE Party Committee and President of HIE, presiding over administrative work and responsible for audit, supervision, international affairs, etc.; in charge of the Audit department and the Supervision Center; liaises with the School of Mechanical Engineering, the School of Materials and Chemical Engineering, and the HIE Branch Committee of the China Democratic League.
